In celebration, Baatighar has organised an evening of music and discussion at its Dhaka outlet on June 18, 2023, from 6 PM onwards. They welcomed their readers, writers, and well-wishers to drop by their Dhaka store between 11 AM to 9 PM, which has been decorated to mark the big day.
Baatighar began its journey in a small room on Cheragi Pahar Moar in Chittagong on June 17, 2005. Since then, it has branched out and expanded its operations in Chittagong, Sylhet, and two locations in Dhaka—one in Shahbag and another in Bongo Bazar. A new branch is set to be inaugurated in Rajshahi on the 24th of this month.
Baatighar's publishing house was established in 2009 and has, since its inception, published over 350 books.
