Delegation of Private Medical College Association meets home minister

A delegation of Bangladesh Private Medical College Association (BPMCA) has met Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal at his Dhanmondi residence in Dhaka today.

The six-member delegation held a meeting for an hour from 11:30am, BPMCA President Mubin Khan, who led the team, told The Daily Star.

The development came just a day after Rab conducted raid at Shahabuddin Medical College Hospital (SMCH) in the capital's Gulshan area yesterday.

Three people, including an assistant director of the hospital, were detained on charges of conducting unauthorised antibody tests on patients to detect Covid-19 and report forgery.
