Avril Lavigne is one of those celebrities who does not seem to age. After 7 studio albums, a two-decade career and several accolades, the "When You're Gone" singer recreated the cover photo of her iconic debut album "Let Go", in New York City.

"20 years later! This was another magical moment for me returning to the exact location of where I shot my debut album cover "Let Go" yesterday in New York City right before we played Madison Square Garden," she wrote on her official Facebook page. "Happy 20th anniversary "Let Go." And thank you to all of my incredibly amazing and supportive fans that have shown me so much love over all these years."

The Canadian American singer was the queen of pop-rock music in the 2000's, becoming a pop culture icon with her signature looks and clean-cut voice.

In December 1999, Lavigne was discovered by Cliff Fabri, while singing country in Kingston, Ontario. The manager sent out VHS tapes of Lavigne's to several industry bigwigs, and Lavigne was visited by several executives. Mark Jowett arranged for Lavigne to work with producer Peter Zizzo during the summer of 2000 in New York, where she wrote the song "Why".
