Jimin's 'Face' teaser tantalises

BigHit Music announced BTS' Jimin's first solo album, "Face" on Tuesday. The entertainment company also shared a teaser and the album's release date on Weverse. "Face" will be available for streaming on March 24. 

BigHit Music released a statement where they briefed about the album. 

 

"Hello, and welcome to BigHit Music. Jimin, a member of BTS, will release his first solo album, FACE. FACE is about Jimin confronting himself as he prepares for his next step as a solo artist," the statement read. 

"Jimin will see the fans through various activities, including the FACE release, so we ask for your continued interest and support for Jimin's first official solo activity," it added. 

The news left fans both excited and emotional. "So excited to see what Jimin has been working on," one Twitter user wrote. 

Another user stated, "This is so Jimin, I'm overjoyed!!!! Face and Park Jimin are on their way." Jimin also re-posted the teaser on his Instagram Stories.

Jimin made his BTS debut in 2013. He has released three solo songs with BTS since then: "Lie in 2016", "Serendipity" in 2017, and "Filter"in 2020.
