Noble served legal notice for remarks against Tagore

A legal notice was served today (August 14) against singer Mainul Ahsan Noble for making derogatory remarks against the writer of the Bangladeshi national anthem Rabindranath Tagore.

Advocate Mithun Biswas, a lawyer of Chattogram court l, served the legal notice to Noble seeking his unconditional apology before the nation over making the derogatory remarks on Facebook within seven days after receiving the notice otherwise a case will be filed against him under the Digital Security Act.

According to the legal notice, Noble from his verified Facebook page 'Noble Man' made two Facebook posts on August 10 and 11 defaming Rabindranath using fabricated, hateful, baseless comments which hurt the sentiments of people from all walks of life.

 

Advocate Mithun said he served the legal notice asking to remove the Facebook posts and issue an apology to the public within seven days owning up to his disrespectful act against Rabindranath.
