Bangladeshi dance group Turongomi to perform in South Korea

Turongomi Repertory Dance Theatre, a Bangladeshi dance group, will be performing at the Daegu Colourful Festival in South Korea.

This is the first time a Bangladeshi dance group has been invited to perform at this renowned festival, which takes place between July 8 and 11. The festival is being organised by the Korean government.

Turongomi leader, Pooja Sengupta confirmed this news to The Daily Star. The dance group will be taking a 10-member team to the festival in Seoul. Sengupta also informed us that the team would depart for Seoul on July 5.

The team will showcase two of their well-known productions, "Panchforon: The Essence of Bangladesh" and "Nondini: The Saviour of the World".
