Afzal Hossain’s ‘Ja Hariye Jai’ to premiere worldwide this Eid

Eminent director Syed Salauddin Zaki's telefilm "Ja Hariye Jai" starring Afzal Hossain is all set to have its world premiere this Eid on Channel I. The film is based on Rabindranath Tagore's short story "Postmaster."

Afzal Hossain plays the role of Rabindro Baul in the film. Earlier on, Syed Salauddin Zaki had stated that the character of Rabindro Baul was not in the original story, but was added due to the requirements of the screenplay.

Gazi Noor plays the role of the postmaster, while Jhilik Jannat essayed the role of Ratan in the film. The telefilm also stars Tushar khan and Fakhrul Basher Masum among others.

"Ja Hariye Jai" will be aired on Channel I at 10:15 AM on the morning of Eid-ul-Adha.
