Chanchal Chowdhury’s look in Mrinal Sen biopic awes fans

Noted actor Chanchal has been seen in a completely new avatar for his upcoming Mrinal Sen biopic, "Padatik" directed by Srijit Mukherji. 

An Indian magazine, Anondolok, has published the new look of Chanchal Chowdhury in the role of Mrinal Sen. In this film, Tollywood actress Monamee Ghosh will be playing the role of Mrinal Sen's wife, Gita Sen. Her look was also revealed. 

After revealing the look, the pictures have been circulating on social media. People have been commenting that Chanchal looks almost identical to the legendary director.

Mrinal Sen is regarded as one of the most accomplished New Indian Cinema directors—an alternative to mainstream commercial cinema. On December 30, 2018, at the age of 95, he passed away in Kolkata after a struggle with age-related ailments.
