Closeup ‘Ei Shomoyer Kachhe Ashar Golpo’ coming this Valentine’s Day

Closeup has kept the Valentine's Day tradition of bringing their much-anticipated series "Kachhe Ashar Golpo" for the last eleven years. Selecting three stories from thousands sent in by the general audience, the scripts are brought to life on the television screen by different directors.

However, this year bringing a change into the format, three directors are going to tell their stories in the latest season of the show titled, "Ei Shomoyer Kachhe Ashar Golpo" instead of the general public.

Three fresh pairs will be introduced through three of the short films. Priyontee Urbee and Tamim Mridha will be featured under the direction of Amitabh Reza Chowdhury, Aisha Khan and Sudip Biswas Deep will star in Raka Noshin Nower's fiction, while Tanjim Saiyara Totini and Shashwta Datta will pair up for Shakeeb Fahad's episode of the show.

Every year, the duration of the three episodes used to be 25 minutes each. However, this year they will be 40 minutes long. The title of the episodes is yet to be finalised.

The campaign song of "Ei Shomoyer Kachhe Ashar Golpo" has been created by the popular band Shunno. The track was released on the occasion of the band's 15th anniversary celebration event.

The show will be aired on all private channels on February 14.
