‘Jawan’ mania: Blockbuster cinemas’ site crashes, huge queue at Star Cineplex

After Shah Rukh Khan's "Jawan" got its censor certificate, fans began to line up in front of Star Cineplex to buy tickets for the evening show. However, Star Cineplex didn't update their timing for "Jawan" at their website, which left fans wondering whether the film is being screened at Star Cineplex today.

Mesbah Uddin Ahmed, manager, Media and Marketing at Star Cineplex, confirmed that the film is being screened at Star Cineplex.

"Yes, we are screening the evening show of 'Jawan' in all our branches. We are still organising the schedule for tomorrow's show. We will update the timing by tonight on both our website and Facebook," said Mesbah.

Meanwhile, "Jawan" is showing at Blockbuster Cinemas and a few selected single screens. However, the Blockbuster Cinemas website has crashed, making it impossible for fans to purchase tickets for today's show.

While Cineplex is yet to release "Jawan" showtimes, Blockbuster Cinemas has updated their movie schedules for August 8-14, with the film screening at nine theatres every day from 11. 30 am to 7. 10 pm.
