Jaya Ahsan sends good news from India

Beloved actress across the borders, Jaya Ahsan is currently working in India on a new project. From there, she informed,that her new film from India, "Jhora Palok" will be screened in Dhaka Today.

The film will be screened in the 21st Dhaka International Film Festival at 3pm, at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.

Explaining her feelings, the actress informed The Daily Star, "I am very happy that my film from Kolkata will be shown in Dhaka. This is great news for me and the audience can view the film today". She also added, "Poet Jibananda Das is everyone's beloved poet. He is a Bangladeshi poet. He was born in Barisal and in "Jhora Palok", his story will be painted".

"Jhora Palok" is directed by Sayantan Mukherjee. It was released last year in Kolkata and collected many accolades.

The actress is currently working on her first Hindi language film. Apart from that, more projects from her, both Bangladeshi and from Kolkata,are waiting to be released.
