John Cena and Zac Efron to star in new film

"Ricky Stanicky", a new comedy film directed by Peter Farrelly, will star Zac Efron, Jermaine Fowler, and John Cena. The film has begun filming in Melbourne,Australia, and will be available worldwide on Amazon's Prime Video. 

The plot centres around three friends who create a fake identity in order to get out of a difficult situation. 

"We are thrilled to be working with comedic icon Peter Farrelly on this new film," said Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon and MGM Studios.

Farrelly, a two-time Academy Award winner, has directed films like "Dumb and Dumber", "Shallow Hal", "Kingpin", "Hall Pass", and "There's Something About Mary", among other films. Farrelly's films have grossed over $1 billion at the global box office.
