Kajal Arefin Ome signs deal for new web-film and series

After stunning the audience with two marvelous productions, "Hotel Relax" and "Bidesh", Kajal Arefin Ome is back with two new projects. This time, the director will be making a new web-film titled, "Oshomoy" and a new web-series titled, "Underworld".

Just yesterday, Ome just signed on for both projects, with the popular streaming platform Bongo BD. At the signing event, present alongside the "Bidesh" director were assistant director, Shimul Sharma and chief content officer of Bongo BD, Mushfiqur Rahman, amongst others.

Speaking about the new projects, the director shared, "I am making a new web-film 'Oshomoy' and a new web-series 'Underworld'. I am already working on the web-film's screenplay. We plan to start shooting after Eid-ul-Azha. Meanwhile, I'll focus on 'Underworld' after finishing the web-film."

"As a director, I want to create high quality content that will inspire my audience to pay and watch it. This way, the content market will expand, and our industry will expand with it," added Ome.

He concluded, "Moreover, our artistes and directors will also get the confidence and opportunity to work on better and bigger projects."
