Mithila to star in children’s film ‘Nuliachhorir Shonar Pahar’

Rafiath Rashid Mithila has signed on for the children's film "Nuliachhorir Shonar Pahar". The movie is an adaptation of the popular children's novel of the same name, authored by noted journalist and human rights activist Shahriar Kabir.

The government funded project will be directed by Lubna Sharmin, and co-produced by Meghla Islam.

"We are happy to have Mithila in this project," said the director to The Daily Star. "We are taking preparations to begin shooting the film from July 20."

According to the director, shooting will begin in Sitakunda, and then move to different locations across the country, including Dhaka.

The film has also cast Shopnil, Hiya, Raheen, and Israt, among others.
