‘Pathaan’ to screen in 41 cinema halls,198 shows everyday

Bollywood King Shah Rukh Khan starrer "Pathaan" will soon greet the Bangladeshi audience in the cinema halls on May 12. Meanwhile, all the procedures for the Indian film's release have been completed, including the censor board clearance.

Bangladeshi cinema hall owners have been wanting to screen Hindi films for quite a while now—their wish seems to finally take shape with the release of "Pathaan".

The organisation responsible for importing "Pathaan", Action-Cut Entertainment's Anonno Mamun shared with The Daily Star, "A total of 41 cinema halls will be screening 'Pathaan' around the country, running 198 shows every day. Moreover, tickets for the first and second days are almost sold out already."

The organisation is also releasing "Pathaan" on their own server. "The presence of e-tickets and the box office allow us to easily track how much the film is earning in real-time. 'Pathaan' is getting a good response from the audience, as the film's pre-tickets are being sold. I hope this flow of audience response remains uninterrupted," added Anonno Mamun.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan" stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, in the lead roles. The film was released on January 25 this year, and has already created quite a storm worldwide.
