Ranveer, Deepika were secretly engaged for three years before marriage!

Fans are eagerly awaiting the 8th season of "Koffee With Karan", and a sneak peek from the upcoming season has been revealed. This teaser features the Bollywood power couple, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, dressed in fashionable black attire and sharing fascinating insights about their lives.

During a lighthearted moment, Ranveer playfully reveals that he had a private engagement with Deepika in 2015, which was kept under wraps until their lavish wedding in 2018. He quips, "In 2015, I was engaged to her. Isse pehle ke koyi aajae mein jakey chappal rakh deta hu (Just to ensure nobody else could swoop in, I marked my territory)." Deepika wittily responded, "Advance booking."

In a different instance, Karan showers the couple with compliments, remarking that they look incredibly attractive. In response, Ranveer humorously says, "Thanks, you flirtatious uncle." Karan also inquiries about Deepika's thoughts on Ranveer Singh's flamboyant character, Rocky Randhawa, in the film "Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani." To this, Deepika, who stars in the movie "Pathaan" with Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer Singh, replies, "I'm married to Rocky Randhawa."

Before this sneak peek, Karan Johar provided fans with a sneak peek of the show's new set on Instagram. The behind-the-scenes video provides an inside look at the production process, including the introduction of a new coffee mug that will be featured on the famous 'Koffee wall'.

Karan's caption on the video reads, "For the first time ever, get a sneak peek into the world of 'Koffee With Karan' before we begin brewing!"

Season 8 of the show is slated to stream from 26th October onwards only on Disney+ Hotstar.
