‘RRR’ bags Oscar nomination

SS Rajamouli's epic period drama "RRR" has bagged a nomination in the 'Original song' category, for its song "Naatu Naatu". The film has received nominations alongside "Applause" from "Tell it like a woman"; "Hold my Hand" from "Top Gun: Maverick"; "Lift Me Up" from "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" and "This is a life" from "Everything Everywhere All at Once".

If "Naatu Naatu" goes on to bag the award in the final event, then the trophy will be lifted by music composer MM Keeravani, along with playback singers Kala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj.
