"Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2", directed by Anees Bazmee, was released last year. Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan was able to captivate audiences with his performance in the film. The movie also performed well at the box office.

As a result, Kartik Aaryan even earned the tag of 'star', courtesy of the commercial success of the project. After the success of "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2'", there was a sense of excitement and hype amongst audiences and fans for "Shehzada".

However, the Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer failed to live up to those expectations. Directed by Rohit Dhawan, the film flopped at the box office after its release. Far from making a profit, the film—made on a budget of Rs 65 crore—could not even recover its budget at the box office.

"Shehzada" only managed to generate Rs 30 crores in 30 days. Due to the film's commercial failure, the cast and crew that worked on the movie had to suffer. Four months after the film's release, many people associated with "Shehzada" are yet to be paid. According to reports, the remuneration figure stands around Rs 30 lakh.

The cast and crew of "Shehzada" have accused the makers of not paying them their dues. Usually, the cast and crew are fully compensated within 30 to 90 days of a film's release.

"Shehzada" was released on February 17 of this year. Four months after the film's release, many are yet to be paid. The makers of the film have also not given any information about when they will receive their overdue payments. Though no legal action has been taken so far, the cast and crew of "Shehzada" are furious about the issue.
