Star Cineplex to open new branch in Chittagong

The new branch of Star Cineplex is all set to open in the port city, Chittagong on December 2. The audience can enjoy the movie screening from the next day after the grand opening of Chittagong branch, according to Mesbah Uddin Ahmed, Manager, Media & Marketing department of Star Cineplex.

"It was just a matter of time that we opened a new branch in the port city of our country. Finally, the day has come. Now, the people of Chittagong can also enjoy movies at the Star Cineplex. There will be 3 halls in the multiplex located in the Bali Arcade shopping complex at Chawkbazar area," said Mesbah.

The country's first multiplex cinema hall, Star Cineplex, started its journey at Bashundhara City in Dhaka on October 8, 2004. At present, there are five branches in Dhaka. The construction of new branches in Bogra and Rajshahi is going on, according to the owners.
