Sunamganj man, injured while collecting flood relief, dies

A man who was injured yesterday (June 20, 2022) while trying to collect relief dropped from an Air Force helicopter at Tahirpur upazila in Sunamganj died this morning (June 21, 2022) in hospital.

The deceased was identified as Biplob Mia, a resident of Ujan village of the upazila, reports our Sylhet correspondent quoting police.

Officer-in-Charge of Tahirpur Police Station, Mohammad Abdul Latif Tarafdar, said that he died at Jalalabad Ragib-Rabeya Medical College and Hospital while undergoing treatment at 9:45am today.

"I have informed the concerned police station to take necessary action," the OC added.
