Load shedding timing for Dhaka, Narayanganj areas

Authorities today (July 18, 2022) announced names of areas and respective timing for the hourlong load shedding in Dhaka and Narayanganj following a government decision to this end.

State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid today announced that one hour long load shedding countrywide will begin from tomorrow to reduce energy subsidy.

The hourlong load shedding will be carried out initially for about a week. If that is not sufficient, the government will increase duration of the load shedding, the state minister added.
