Mild to moderate cold wave likely to continue in 4 places

A mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions and Jashore and Chuadanga districts and it may continue, said a Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) bulletin.

Moderate to thick fog may occur over the river basins and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country in 24 hours commencing from 9:00 am today, the met release added.

The weather may remain dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, it said.

Night temperature may fall slightly while the day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The country's maximum temperature yesterday was recorded at 30.3 degrees Celsius in Feni division, while the minimum temperature today was 7.8 degrees Celsius jointly in Rajshahi and Ishwardi.

The sun will rise at 6.44 am tomorrow in the capital.
