Covid-19 Positivity rate now 14.32%
1 dead, 1,319 cases reported in 24 hours
At least 1,319 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in 24 hours till 8am today, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
One person died from Covid-19 during this period, raising the death toll from the disease to 29,135.
The Covid-19 death rate at the moment is 1.49 percent.
The current positivity rate is 14.32 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 13.75 percent.
Meanwhile, with the new infections, the total number of cases rose to 19,60,528, added the release.
A total of 9,214 samples were tested across the country during this period.
At least 127 patients have recovered from Covid-19 within this time. The total number of recoveries now stands at 19,06,232 and the recovery rate at 97.23 percent, added the release.
