A month of no Covid-19 deaths
Current positivity rate 0.79%
No Covid-19 deaths were reported in 30 consecutive days since April 21, 2022 while 50 new infections were recorded in 24 hours till 8am today.
The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country remains at 29,127 and the mortality rate is 1.49 percent, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The total number of cases rose to 19,53,188 added the release.
The current positivity rate is 0.79 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 13.88 percent, said the press release.
A total of 6,313 samples were tested across the country during this time.
At least 221 patients recovered from Covid-19 during the period. The total number of recoveries now stands at 19,00,575 and the recovery rate at 97.31 percent, added the release.
