No Covid-19 death in 24 hours, current positivity rate 0.47%

No Covid-19 death was reported in 24 hours till 8:00 am today, according to a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country remains at 29,441 and the death rate is 1.44 percent.

At least nine new infections from Covid-19 were recorded in the 24 hours till 8am today. The total number of cases rose to 20,37,478, added the release.

The current positivity rate is 0.47 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 13.37 percent, said the press release.

A total of 1,924 samples were tested across the country during this time.

At least 211 patients recovered from Covid-19 during the period. The total number of recoveries now stands at 19,91,579 and the recovery rate at 97.75 percent, added the release.
