No Covid-19 death in 24hrs, positivity rate 0.41%

No Covid-19 death was reported in 24 hours till 8:00 am today, said a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of deaths from Covid-19 in the country remains at 29,441 and the mortality rate is 1.44 percent.

At least 11 new cases were reported in this 24-hour period. The total number of cases, meanwhile, rose to 20,37,444, the release added.

The current positivity rate is 0.41 per cent while the total positivity rate is 13.38 percent, said the release.

A total of 2,674 samples were tested across the country during this time.

At least 199 patients recovered from Covid-19 during the period. The total number of recoveries now stands at 19,90,960 and the recovery rate 97.72 percent, added the release.
