No Covid-19 death in 24hrs, positivity rate 0.75%

No Covid-19 death was reported in 24 hours till 8:00am today, according to a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country remains at 29,443 and the death rate at 1.44 percent.

At least 10 new infections from Covid-19 were recorded in this 24-hour period. The total number of cases rose to 20,37,588, added the release.

The current positivity rate is 0.75 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 13.36 percent, said the press release.

A total of 1,332 samples were tested across the country during this time.

At least 266 patients recovered from Covid-19 during the period. The total number of recoveries now stands at 19,93,700 and the recovery rate is 97.85 percent, added the release.
