No Covid-19 death recorded in 24 hrs, positivity rate 0.23%

No Covid-19 death was reported in 24 hours till 8:00 am today, according to a press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the country remains at 29,441 and the death rate is 1.45 percent.

At least four new infections from Covid-19 were recorded in the 24 hours till 8am today. The total number of cases rose to 20,37,331, added the release.

The current positivity rate is 0.23 percent while the total positivity rate stands at 13.40 percent, said the press release.

A total of 1,744 samples were tested across the country during this time.

At least 154 patients recovered from Covid-19 during the period. The total number of recoveries now stands at 19,89,139 and the recovery rate at 97.63 percent, added the release.
