3 more die of dengue fever, 410 hospitalised in 24hrs

At least three patients died of dengue fever while 410 others were admitted to different hospitals across the country in 24 hours until this morning.

The total number of deaths has now risen to 257 while the total number of dengue cases rose to 58,619 this year, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

A total of 56,899 patients have been released so far after treatment, of whom 21,401 are from outside Dhaka.

Some 1,463 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment, of whom 622 are from outside Dhaka.
