Dengue: One dies, 22 hospitalised in 24 hours

At least one dengue patient died and at least 22 were hospitalised across the country in the last 24 hours till this morning.

With this, three dengue patients, so far, died this year.

With the new cases, the total number of dengue cases this year rose to 370, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Some 120 dengue patients are still undergoing treatment of which 72 are from outside Dhaka.

The total number of deaths due to dengue fever was 281 last year, while the total number of cases was 62,382, of whom, 23,162 were from outside the capital.
