One dies of dengue after 14 days

After 14 days, one patient died of dengue and 12 others were hospitalised in the last 24 hours till this morning.

With the new death and cases, the total number of deaths rose to 18 while the total number of cases rose to 1,455 for this year, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Last year, the country witnessed 1705 dengue-related deaths and a total of 321,179 reported cases.
