PM directs to take immediate action against rice hoarders

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given directives to take immediate action against rice hoarders.

The Prime Minister also expressed disappointment over the hike in rice prices.

Directives were also given to check whether big businesses are hoarding rice, Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam said at a press briefing after the Cabinet meeting this afternoon.
