Gonoshasthaya Kendra offers dialysis for Tk 1,000 for 100 patients a night

Gonoshasthaya Kendra has decided to offer dialysis treatment to 100 kidney patients per night for Tk 1,000 per session.

The Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital in Dhaka's Dhanmondi is going to start the treatment at the reduced cost from February 5, according to a press release issued by Gonoshasthaya Kendra yesterday.

Dialysis will be provided at the reduced cost in the hospital's shifts fourth (8:30pm) and fifth (2:00am) shifts, the release said.

Gonoshasthaya Kendra took the decision based on the distressing situation of patients needing kidney dialysis around the country, especially in Dhaka and Chattogram, portrayed in the media in recent times, the press release added.
