DU Law Faculty is arranging Law Career Festival on 5th of November

The Faculty of Law, University of Dhaka in collaboration with Bangladesh Law Association (BLA) is going to organise a 'Law Career Festival'22 at the premises of Faculty of Law, University of Dhaka.

The Honorable Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Akhtaruzzaman, University of Dhaka is going to inaugurate the festival. The Honourable Justice Hasan Foez Siddique, Chief Justice of Bangladesh will grace the chair of Chief Guest. The event will be chaired by Professor Dr. Shima Zaman, Dean (Acting), Faculty of Law, University of Dhaka. To inspire and share the experiences with the young law students panelists from different public and private sectors as well as from UN agencies and Corporate Firms are going to attend two separate Career Talk forum.

Multinational Corporations like Unilever, Banglalink, Marico Bangladesh and Monstar Lab Inc. will interact with the students and interested students can submit their CV's and have a great chance to work with these leading corporations. UN agencies i.e. UNDP Bangladesh, UNICEF Bangladesh, UNDOC, ILO Bangladesh and Non-Governmental Organisations like Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK), Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust (BLAST), US Institute of Diplomacy & Human Rights (USIDHR) and Representatives from Judicial Administration Training Institute (JATI), Bangladesh Securities & Exchange Commission (BSEC) will be present at this event.

Leading commercial, corporate, criminal and litigation shall be in attendance and students will have the opportunity to apply for positions of interns and associates. Almost 14 leading chambers including MNA - Barristers & Lawyers, A.S & Associates, Mahabub & Company, Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed & Associates, Farooq & Associates, Vertex Chambers, Black & White Law House, Salauddin Dolon & Associates, Ahammad, Jonaed & Partners, I. H. Khan & Associates, KRLF Advocates & Barristers, Rahman & Rabbi Legal, Shameem Aziz and Associates, Sattar&Co. have confirmed their presence at this festival.

The event is open to law students, recent graduates and early career legal professionals from all universities.
