Thai power lunch at Amaya

Amari Dhaka's new Executive Chef Deaw has designed an awe-inspiring Thai Power Lunch menu, acknowledging the unprecedented desire for Thai cuisine that exists among food enthusiasts in Dhaka. The Thai Power Lunch is a 6-course power-house of a menu, perfect for business meetings as well as for a personal treat.

To start off, the menu offers a selection of eight salads/appetisers and six choices of soups. Among the appetisers, Laab Gai is a guest favourite, showcasing Thai minced chicken salad flavoured with lime, fish sauce, herbs, and onion. The Tom Yum Fish soup is also a highlight, with its intoxicating flavours of lemongrass, garlic, lime, coconut milk, and chillies.

The main course features 12 choices with prominent Thai dishes of generous portion, such as Kaeng Kiew Waan Kai, Pad Kra Pao Gai, Kaeng Ka-ree Gai among others. A highlight of the main course is the Red Curry with chicken, tomatoes, and pineapples, with its lovely curry taste, and just the right burst of sweetness from the pineapple, making it a must have. Next is a vegetable course, with a choice of six vegetable items, with the highlighted Pad Pak Raum, with lively taste of vegetables, and is a satisfying meal that is low on calories and very healthy!

There is also a choice of rice/noodles which features an abundant selection of nine celebrated dishes, among which, the Wok Fried Rice Noodle with Pad Thai sauce and prawns is extremely delicious with its crisp texture and admirable garnish. Last but not least, there is a choice of five delectable desserts, of which, the light and refreshing Chilled Coconut Sago with corn, topped with fresh fruits, delivers a carnival of flavours that one just cannot resist.

This Thai Power Lunch is available at Tk 1500 net/person, from 12PM to 4PM at Amaya Food Gallery from Sundays to Fridays, every week.
