Not many will recognise the name Shishir Rahman, instead they would happily acknowledge the presence of the group Hey Bro Club on various social media outlets like YouTube and Facebook. Rahman is the founder of the humorous group — 'Hey Bro Club,' which happily discovers the amusing side to everyday life and shares with its followers.

Shishir Rahman opens up to Star Lifestyle about the page and its future.

How and when did the YouTube page begin?

I always wanted to entertain people and the best way to amuse a wider population would have been to go online and hence, with that ideology, I began the Hey Bro Club page in 2019. I started uploading humorous content since the beginning and over time, I realised people actually liked my content and wanted to see more of it. This gave me a lot of encouragement and I am still doing it right now.

Why humour?

Well, you see I personally like to find humour in everything. And I also believe people want to watch light-hearted content to feel better in their lives. I want my followers to always feel motivated and lively. In the future, I want to look back at my own content and be amused by the comical angle. Furthermore, this is also an earning avenue for me. So, I want to keep on making people laugh as long as I can.

Have you ever faced cyber bullying?

I am lucky to 'not' have faced cyberbullying in my work avenue, as much as other people. My followers have been extremely respectful of my work and I am grateful to them. But having said that, cyber bullying is an existing problem of the online space and there's no denying that. To all the viewers of the world wide web, I'd like to say — Let's be more respectful of content makers and keep our comments more courteous and useful.

Future of Hey Bro Club…

More content for my ardent followers. I want to continue to make them laugh and appreciate the humorous side of life.
