The 'Senora Health Camp and Social Awareness Session,' generously sponsored by Senora, unfolded at BCSIR School, becoming a beacon of hope and knowledge for the underprivileged. Hashimukh's legacy of fostering urban health development and uplifting underprivileged children took a significant leap forward through this endeavour.

Since 2014, Hashimukh has tirelessly organised health camps as part of its 'Urban Health Development' initiative, dedicated to bolstering health awareness and welfare among the less fortunate. This year marked the execution of their second Urban Health Camp and Social Awareness Session, aiming to hold four such camps under the project's banner. On this day, BCSIR School Dhaka, hosted the event from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM, a testament to Hashimukh's commitment to the cause.

The event resonated with purpose as Hashimukh and Senora arranged an array of essential services. Attendees, comprising students and their families, as well as BCSIR School's scholars, received primary health check-ups, complementary medications, and sanitary napkins. The profound impact extended beyond the physical realm, with enlightening sessions on health, hygiene, mental well-being, and social awareness.

Esteemed doctors led the first session, endowing participants with valuable insights into primary healthcare and foundational hygiene practices. Subsequently, the Sajida Foundation's Mental Health Department "Kaan Pete Roi" graced the occasion with a discourse on mental health. This enlightening dialogue emphasised the significance of extracurricular activities for students' mental well-being. A highlight of the event was the presence of distinguished guests notably, Saeed Jaralla, Deputy Head of Mission at the Qatar Embassy and Nazirullah Obhi, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime, Dhaka Metropolitan Police who shed light on important aspects of juvenile crime and police assistance.

Professor Dr Syed Mozaffar Ahmed and other luminaries enriched the audience with invaluable insights. Zonta Club 4's generous contribution of Tk 96,000 to Hashimukh's Co-Founder and President, Nusrat Akter, was a moment of great significance. This funding will empower adolescent girls with sanitary pads, ensuring their unhindered pursuit of education. The event's interactive spirit was amplified through a health-themed quiz competition, where three high-achieving girls were awarded scholarships for a year of education by Senora.

As the sun began to set, Hashimukh students, their families, and BCSIR School's scholars departed with free medicines and Senora napkins and Hashimukh's President and Co-Founder, Nusrat Akter, unveiled the organisation's new logo.
