Maldives requested Bangladesh to take back undocumented workers: Momen

The Maldives has requested Bangladesh to take back undocumented Bangladeshi workers from the island nation due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen said.

"The foreign minister of Maldives called me. He said there are a number of Bangladeshis there. They want the undocumented workers to return home," Momen told journalists after a meeting at the foreign ministry today.
