Sawmill, shops gutted in Barisal

A sawmill and several shops were gutted in a devastating fire in Chandmari area of Barisal city on Saturday night.
Fire service sources said the fire originated from an electric short circuit in the mill and soon engulfed the adjacent areas.
Being informed, Barisal fire service unit rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control with the help of locals.
