1 killed as ambulance rams auto-rickshaw in Savar

At least one person was killed and another seriously injured when an ambulance hit a battery-run auto-rickshaw on the Dhaka-Aricha highway in Savar.

The accident took place in the C&B area of Savar around 7:30pm, reports our local correspondent, quoting Sub-Inspector Babul Mia of Savar Highway Police Station.

The identity of the deceased could not be known till filing of the report.

Police went to the spot and recovered the body of the deceased, said the SI.
