Motorcyclist dead after colliding with 3-wheeler in Shariatpur

A man died in a head-on collision between his motorcycle and a three-wheeler at Zajira upazila of Shariatpur last night (September 21, 2022).

The deceased was identified as Shakhawat Hossain Chanchal (28) of Khoshal Shikdarkandi area of ward-5 of the upazila, reports our local correspondent quoting Mostafizur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Zajira Police Station.

The accident happened in the Katirhat area around 9:30 pm, leaving Shakhawat critically injured, the OC said.

He was taken to Zajira Upazila Health Complex where an on-duty doctor declared him dead, the OC added.
