Mahiya Mahi walks out of jail

Actress Mahiya Mahi was released from Gazipur district jail this evening after she secured bail in both of the cases filed against her.

Mahi walked out from jail around 7:45pm, Anwarul Karim, jail super of Gazipur District Jail, told our Gazipur correspondent.

After her release, around 7:50 pm, she reached the main gate of the jail where her fans and well-wishers welcomed her with flowers, said Mahyia Mahi's lawyer Anwar Sadat Sarker.

Earlier in the day, actress Mahiya Mahi has been granted bail in two cases filed one under the Digital Security Act and in another case filed for alleged extortion and assault of a businessman.
