Man stabbed to death on Sunamganj court premises

A man was stabbed to death on Sunamganj District Judge Court premises yesterday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Khokon Miah, 45, of Jagannathphur upazila. 

Lawyers detained three people – Fayez Ahmed, 30, Sajid Miah, 36, and Sebul Mia, 25 -- and handed them over to police. 

Ikhtiar Uddin, OC of Sunanganj Sadar Police Station, said, "The victim and the attackers came to the premises for a legal battle.

They locked in an altercation during which Fayez stabbed Khokon."

A case is under progress at the court in this regard.
