Test-run of special train conducted from Faridpur’s Bhanga to near Padma Bridge

Test run of a train was conducted from Faridpur Bhanga station to near Padma Bridge under the Padma Bridge Rail Link Project this morning (November 1, 2022).

The experimental train departed the Bhanga station at 10:30am and traveled 32 km in one hour to reach the Padma Bridge area, our Faridpur correspondent reports quoting Station Manager of Bhanga, Md Shahjahan.

The train is built in a special shape known as "Gang-Car".

Project Director Afzal Hossain and Major General Zahid Afzal travelled in the Gang-Car on behalf of the contractor organisation of the army.
