Cabinet approves 22 public holidays for 2024

The cabinet today approved the proposed list of 22 holidays for the 2024 calendar year, but two holidays would coincide with weekends (Fridays).

The approval came from a cabinet meeting held with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair, said Cabinet Secretary Mahbub Hossain while speaking at a press briefing.

Just as 2023, people will also enjoy a 22-day holiday the next year.
