Ex-Barguna DC made OSD

Home Ministry's Public Security Division's Joint Secretary and former deputy commissioner of Barguna Md Habibur Rahman has been made officer on special duty (OSD).

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a circular in this regard today, signed by the deputy secretary of Public Administration Ministry's Senior Recruitment-2 Branch.

The order will come into effect immediately, reads the notification.

On July 7, while working as the DC of Barguna, Habibur was served with a legal notice by a woman seeking compensation of Tk 5 crore. She alleged that Habibur had established a physical relationship with her promising marriage.

Habibur has not responded to the notice yet.

Recently, videos allegedly of their intimate moments went viral.

Habibur couldn't be reached for comments despite repeated attempts.
