TIB condoles death of Ruby Ghaznavi

Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) yesterday expressed condolences over the death of its founder trustee board member Ruby Ghaznavi, one of the pioneers of the handicraft movement in Bangladesh.

Ghaznavi, was a former member of TIB trustee board, until he retired in 2020, said in a press release yesterday.

TIB's executive director Dr Iftekharuzzaman, in the press release said, "Death of Ruby Ghaznavi is a great loss for the nation. We remember her active initiative in establishing TIB, which now plays an important role to ensure good governance in the country..."

"She will remain as a source of inspiration to us all," he added.

Ruby Ghaznavi as a member of the trustee board played an important role to ensure a good governance and anti-corruption movement in Bangladesh, the press release reads.
