Morsalin and his wife have two children. With everyday issues, it was a happy family. Now after his death, what will happen to his children?

Morsalin's elder brother Noor Mohammad said in a choked voice following his death today.

He was talking to The Daily Star in front of Dhaka Medical College morgue while waiting for Morsalin's body.

An employee of a shop in New Super Market, Morsalin was injured in a clash between traders and Dhaka College students on April 19.

The victim – son of deceased Manik Mia of Kanainagar village of Daudkandi upazila of Cumilla – used to live in a rented house along with his wife and two children at Kamrangirchar West Rasulpur. He was the second among two brothers and one sister in the family.

Morsalin's daughter Humaira Islam Lamha and son Amir Hamza are 7 and 4 years old respectively.

Noor Mohammad told The Daily Star, "There is nothing heavier than the corpse of a younger brother! What could be more painful than that? What was my brother's fault? Why kill him?"

"What will happen to these children? What will I tell them? How will they grow up without their father?"

Noor Mohammad said, "My brother was fasting. I came to know that he was going to the mosque for Zohr prayer when he was injured."

Yesterday, a deliveryman, Nahid Hossain (18), who was also injured in the clash, died while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
