Death anniv of Hasina Begum today

Today is the 1st death anniversary of Hasina Begum, wife of late AKM Nurun Nabi, former district registrar, said a press release.

Hasina Begum, mother of the Financial Times Editor Anwarul Kabir Shahzada, died of a cardiac arrest on this day in 2022, aged 77.

Qurankhwani and a doa mahfil will be held after the Juma prayers at Gopibagh graveyard today.

A doa and milad mahfil will also be held today at Shah Saheb Bari Mosque, near her residence at Momembagh after the Juma and Asr prayers. The same programmes will be held simultaneously at the mosque adjacent to her Nijpanua village home in Chhagalnaiya upazila of Feni.

Besides, Qurankhwani and a doa mahfil will be held after Zohr prayers at the Gulbagh mosque tomorrow.  He family members requested all to attend those programmes to pray for the salvation of he departed soul.
