After BCL, JCD now forms committees at pvt universities

Jatiyadabadi Chhatra Dal today formed committees at nine private universities of the country including North South University and Independent University Bangladesh.

Partial committees of the nine institutions were accepted by the JCD central unit, according to separate press releases signed by JCD Private University unit President Md Abu Horayra and General Secretary Rajibul Islam Talukdar.

Additionally, it instructed the concerned units to deliver drafts of full-fledged university committees to the office cell within 15 working days.

Daffodil International University, European University of Bangladesh, Uttara University, Stamford University, Bangladesh Islami University, World University of Bangladesh, and University of Asia Pacific are the other seven universities where partial committees were formed.

Earlier on September 3, Bangladesh Chhatra League formed committees at many private universities including NSU, IUB, Brac University, American International University Bangladesh, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, and East West University.

Following that, authorities of different private universities including NSU, Brac University, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh, DIU issued notices saying that no activities with a political bias could be carried out inside the institutions.
